We are raising the bar on faith-based finances.

Christians need much more than a class on budgeting or financial planning.

What we really need is a biblically-based, Christ-centered theology of money and possessions. We need a course that deals with critical issues every Christian should face, but we have avoided talking about.

This is that course.

"I truly believe God wants so much more for you than to achieve your maximum earning potential, retire early, or buy a larger home. When did these things become the symbol of success? Why are we aiming so low?

God wants you to be wildly satisfied, living a life overflowing with love, experiencing true joy and freedom, with Him."

~Courtney Markley

Meet Your Guide

Hello, friend! My name is Courtney Markley. I am a Certified Christian Financial Counselor, owner of the Markley Coaching Group, and author of “The Good Investor’s Guide to: Spiritual Health and Money.”

My days are full of helping stewards grow in generosity and step into their God-given gifts. I specialize in working with leaders who want to avoid the dangers of wealth and pursue a higher kingdom calling. My clients desire a safe place to talk about their life and their money. My hope is this can become your safe place, too.

Money is a funny thing. We all need it, most of us have it, but no one likes to talk about it. Most people feel uncomfortable talking about money with their close friends, family, pastors, even their spouses.

After working as a financial counselor for many years, I have had thousands of conversations with people about their faith and finances. So, you can say I have a bit of a cheat-sheet to understanding how people think and behave with money.

I am a wife, a mom to two wildly adorable toddlers and a pup named Franklin, and I am on a mission to change the way we talk about finances. Because in the end, it’s never about the math. There are major heart transformations waiting to happen if we can recognize the deep connection between our spiritual health and how we use money.

What if...

What if you experienced Christ in such an amazing way that compelled you to completely reorient how you live your life?

What if we redefined financial success to no longer refer to the number in your bank account, but rather, your willingness to serve and obey God’s call?

What if we searched the scriptures for God’s advice about money (there are more than 2,000 of them) and lived as if they were true! That, my friend, would be radical.
